This past Saturday, the mother of all wedding parties rolled through One Salon. And when I say mother, I mean gigantic! 15 bridesmaids, 2 moms, 3 aunts, 1 flower girl, and of course, the bride. 21 total ladies getting up-doo’s, event styles and make up. That is unparalleled, even by One Salon standards. Could we handle it? Could we get them all looking their most radiant by Noon? What do you think? This is One Salon, if it isn’t a challenge, it isn’t worth doing.
We deployed our Bridal Team, 13 designers strong, headed up by owner Janine Exline and went to work while the wedding party relaxed with mimosas and bagels. Three hours later, after a lot of laughs, a lot of bobby pins and a mom and bride-to-be sharing some happy tears, we had this group of ladies ready for the important day. “From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank One Salon for taking care of us,” said bride, Katie Janhevich. “I’ve been overwhelmed with emotion all day and your staff made all of us feel so relaxed. Everyone looks amazing.”
On Saturday, August 3rd, at 3pm, Katie Janhevich married Justin Wikander at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Downtown Detroit…and everyone’s hair and make-up…was perfect! A hearty slap on the back to Candice, Beckie, Amanda, Brooke, Arsha, Katie, Lauren L, Amy Gibson, Stacey P, Andrea F, Andrea M, and Ali. You girls made it happen and One Salon is honored to have you as part of our team.
