COVID-19 Protocols

What to expect when you arrive

  • One Salon requires all guests to wear a mask upon entering the facility. If you have a medical condition that prohibits the use of a mask, please inform us when booking. We will make sure we take the proper precaution to accommodate your needs.
  • You will be greeted at the door with a big smile. At that time we will take your temperature, have you fill out the COVID-19 Waiver and Contact form, and answer screening questions.
  • You will be checked-in and we may ask you to wait in your car, as our waiting area only allows for limited capacity using proper social distancing. 
  • When your stylist is ready for you, we will text you to come inside. We will have you sanitize your hands, and your stylist will escort you to their station.
  • Once inside we ask that you observe proper 6ft social distancing where possible.
  • We ask that you only bring your form of payment and phone into the building to avoid spread of germs from nonessential items.
  • Only guests with appointments will be let in the building. This means no additional guests or children. 
  • 1 guardian or caregiver may accompany young children and those that require assistance.
  • Beverage service is available by request only.
  • We have removed all shared items (e.g. magazines, etc.) in order to avoid spread of germs form nonessential items.
  • We have installed safe distancing markers on the floor throughout the building.
  • Please avoid contact with retail shelves. Your stylist will assist you in obtaining any products you may require.
  • The return of purchased retail products or merchandise is currently prohibited.
  • Upon conclusion of your appointment, your stylist will pre-book future appointments, gather any products you require, and take your form of payment to the front desk.

COVID-19 Sanitation and Preparedness

  • Our entire facility has been sanitized in accordance with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), and Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA). 
  • The inside and outside of our HVAC ducts have been professionally cleaned.
  • All frequently touched surfaces will be sanitized several times throughout the day.
  • All stations and equipment will be cleaned and disinfected after each appointment.
  • All stylists have finished the Barbicide Covid-19 certification.
  • All stations will have a bottle of hand sanitizer available.
  • All stations have been cleared of unnecessary objects except those required for services.
  • All stations and processors are 6ft apart.
  • Sneeze guards have been installed at our front desk.
  • During pedicure services, all tubs and jets will be disinfected after each appointment.
  • All retail products and merchandise is cleaned and disinfected before it is stocked.
  • Deep cleaning of the entire facility will be performed regularly.
  • All staff members conduct a pre-shift health check. Which includes temperature and symptom screening.
  • All staff members will wear facial coverings at all times, and eye protection is required when client is unable to wear a mask for medical reasons.
  • Employees are only within 6ft of each other at common choke points in the facility.
