Kristy Slawski is a vital member of our One Salon team. Not only is she a Senior Hair Designer and Color Correction Specialist, but she is also a member of our management team.
Like most young girls, Kristy was attracted to the hair and fashion industries in her youth. “When I was younger, I was a very creative person. I was into fashion, art, music…and of course messing around with hair and make-up as a teenager is a way to channel creativity.” After graduation from cosmetology school, Kristy cut her teeth as an assistant absorbing as much education as she could. Once she made the transition to the chair as a full time designer, Kristy continued her advanced education and became an educator for the Kemon National Technical Team. “Education is key for any designer at any level. Not only do trends in the industry change, but so does the science behind the products we use.” As a One Salon Color Correction Specialist, Kristy possesses the expertise to work with the world’s top color lines including: Goldwell, Schwarzkopf, Kemon, Redken and TIGI.
In recent years, Kristy has made the transition into salon management. She oversees One Salon’s Guest Service staff and also serves as the Retail Manager; applying her vast knowledge to insure One Salon is using and selling the most cutting edge professional products available. There is no better person at One Salon to consult with when it comes to the science behind hair color and hair care products.
