Andi McMillan has always had the creative gene. Perhaps it’s in her DNA or perhaps it was acquired spending time around her mom’s barbershop as a child. Nevertheless, One Salon is happy she caught the bug, and thrilled she is part of our staff. Andi joined One Salon as an assistant and gained unparalleled experience working with senior stylists on a daily basis. “Assisting gave me the experience you don’t learn in school…how to do proper consultations, how to create a rapport with your clients.”
Andi excelled at all aspects of One Salon’s in-salon education demonstrating almost an innate aptitude to cut and color hair. This natural ability and creative eye have quickly propelled Andi to success behind the chair. Although she is comfortable with any aspect of hair design, Andi enjoys working with color. She produces stunning custom color designs as well as beautiful events styles. Andi’s personality is very laid back. She is easy to talk to which puts clients at ease and allows her to do thorough, professional consultations. She is also an expert at working with unruly hair. “Hair is hair, doesn’t matter if it’s thick, thin, curly, frizzy, whatever…it’s my job to provide the client with the look they desire.”
