Blushrock lash extensions
One Salon is proud to announce that we now offer BlushRock Eyelash Extensions. These semi-permanent lashes are made of synthetic fibers replicating natural lashes and are designed to add length, thickness and fullness to existing lashes. They are applied one individual lash at a time by One Salon’s professionally trained Lash Artist Jill Staniszeski.
Jill was trained by Lisa Marques, founder of BlushRock in Tampa Bay, Florida. Lisa’s story is amazing. It was only several years ago that she was a server at a restaurant inside the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa. She did lash extensions for friends and coworkers as a hobby at the time. She’s now a licensed aesthetician and has trademarked a lash product made of mink and silk and it’s used at 44 locations around the Tampa area.
EYELASH EXTENSION INFORMATION AND COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much do eyelash extensions cost? One Salon charges $200 for a full set of lashes. Touch ups or fills start at $50 depending on how many lashes you need reapplied.
How long do eyelash extensions last? Touch ups are necessary after 3-4 weeks to maintain your desired look as lashes naturally shed every 60-90 days. There are two factors that come into play with the life of the extensions. First, the products used such as the quality and durability of the adhesive. One Salon uses adhesive formulated by a team of chemists. Client safety was the number one priority during research and development. The goal was to formulate a product that has superior bonding power yet safe to use on natural lashes. Second, taking proper care of your lashes after application will extend the life of your extensions.
Once applied, how do I care for the lashes? There is very little maintenance with eyelash extensions. Use a disposable mascara wand to keep lashes looking their best and remember to always USE OIL FREE PRODUCTS on and around the eyes area. Do not use water proof mascara, only water soluble formulated for lash extensions. One Salon sells an oil free mascara and makeup remover. DO NOT expose lashes to water 24 hours after application. This is very important as it will weaken the adhesive bond and shorten the life of your extensions. Avoid rubbing your eyes or pulling on the extensions.
Approximately how long does the procedure take? A full set of lashes takes about 3 hours to apply. A touch up or refill takes about one hour.
How do I prepare for the service? You should come to your appointment with clean lashes, free of makeup and any oily residue, including eye creams. Contact lenses must be removed before the procedure.
Are eyelash extensions safe? When applied by a properly trained Lash Artist, lash extensions will not harm your natural lashes. The procedure is relaxing and completely pain-free. Your eyes are closed throughout the entire procedure.
One Salon will not perform an eyelash extension application on a bride or bridesmaid the day of the wedding. They will only be done at least one week prior to the wedding. All lash extension appointments require a signed waiver by the client. On the rare occasion that lash extensions cause irritation, Jill will take them out at no charge. However, no refund will be provided.
