Question: how do you get 10 of your senior designers to come to work on their day off? Answer: fly in a guest educator from New York to give them some advanced training.
This past Monday, One Salon welcomed Zach from Arrojo studio in New York City. Zach was in town to teach the American Wave System to our senior staff. American Wave is a new an exclusive professional texture enhancing service that offers permanent creation of wave, curl and volume. The system employs editorial hair setting techniques (the kinda stuff they do backstage at fashion shows) for fashion forward looks.
The American Wave System can create 3 different textures, which are tailored to meet the different needs of today’s style-conscious consumer. The first is Style Support, which adds volume to limp hair. It’s great for putting a little more oomph into blow-dries and hot-tool styling. Next, the Beach Wave, which marries straight and wavy texture to create sexy, tousled beach waves. Last, Expanded Curl Patterns, which creates a resilient curl for client’s that want texture expansion.
The American Wave service will be exclusively available at One Salon as no other salon in Michigan is certified in the system. Stay tuned as we will be launching the service soon!
