So…we have been tracking the trends in men’s hairstyles, and thus far in 2014 there are really only two styles that are all the rage for the dudes. It’s one of two extremes. Super long locks like Jared Leto or super short. We have been seeing the super short clipper cut style for a while now and it is showing no signs of slowing down…just metamorphosing. The style can be worn more conservatively with a side part and a nice crisp fade or it can be edgier with a textured hair style on the top that really accentuate the tightly shaved sides. Here is some of our male clients and what they did in regards to this new men’s hairstyle. Abbey Nichols did a 1 guard all around his sides and just trimmed the top using point cutting and Mohawk sections over directing to the center. For the color Abbey used Tigi Professional blue bleach and 20vol to lighten his hair, and for the blue she used TQ@all and BL@all by Goldwell USA. She finished the look with Kerastase Nectar Thermique, Schwarzkopf Osis Mess Up, and Moroccan Oil Strong Hairspray.
