Dawn Blyshak always knew she wanted to do hair. “Oh yeah, for sure. I was drawn to it. Like most young girls I was always messing with my friends hair. I took Cos in high school, the whole deal.” After high school Dawn served as an apprentice gaining valuable salon experience and knowledge and came to the realization that she loved doing color. So much so, that she decided to do color exclusively. “It’s just fun. You can just be so creative with color. There are so many things you can do with it. You can match it to the client’s personality…or you can use it to dramatically change their persona.”
Dawn has now been doing hair for over 14 years and joined One Salon’s team as a Senior Colorist. She is certified in the application of the world’s top color lines including: Goldwell, Loreal Professional, Schwarzkopf, Redken and TIGI. “I’ve always looked at what I do as fun. I get to work in a great atmosphere, meet new people and One Salon gives me the freedom to create and mesh my styles with the needs of my clients.”
